    Our Cookie Usage:

    We use only first-party cookies (cookies set by "Daily Films 4 me" directly and by Cloudflare to stream the film) and do not use any third-party cookies on our platform. All our cookies expire after 24 hours, unless otherwise specified below. We use the following types of cookies:

    • Necessary Cookies: These cookies are essential for you to browse our website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the site. They include cookies that store your country location to ensure you are accessing our service from a country where our service is available and to comply with our content licensing agreements. Without this cookie, we would not be able to provide you with access to our streaming content.

    • Session Cookies: When you log in to your account, we use session cookies to store your email address for the duration of your browsing session. These cookies help us recognize you as a logged-in user as you navigate through different pages of our website.

    • Analytics Cookies: We use these cookies to collect information about how you use our website, such as which pages you visit most often and if you experience any error messages. This helps us improve how our website works. All information collected is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

    Payment Processing: Our payment processing is handled securely by Stripe on their platform. We do not set or manage cookies related to payment processing on our website. For information about how Stripe handles cookies and your data, please refer to Stripe's privacy policy.

    You can control and manage cookies in various ways through your browser settings. Most web browsers allow you to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Please note that if you disable or refuse cookies, some parts of our website may become inaccessible or not function properly.

  • Security and fraud prevention In order to protect our visitors, assets and business against fraud, unauthorized access, and other security threats, we put in place various security measures (including cookies, tags and other similar technologies) to protect our website and platform. Some of these measures will require collection and processing of personal data, including IP addresses and device information, which we process based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and integrity of our services.

  • Service performance and analytics We collect technical data to ensure our platform functions properly across different devices and browsers. This includes error logs, performance metrics, and usage statistics, which we process based on our legitimate interest in providing a high-quality, reliable streaming service.

  • If our business is sold We process your personal information for this purpose because we have a legitimate interest to ensure our business can be continued by the buyer. If you object to our use of your personal information in this way, the buyer of our business may not be able to provide streaming services to you.

  • Legal defense We have legitimate interest in protecting our rights and our property, or any of our respective affiliates, business partners, employees or customers, for example, in legal proceedings, internal investigations and investigations by competent authorities.

Who do you share my data with?

  • Cloud service providers and technical infrastructure partners who help us deliver our streaming service. These partners only process your data according to our instructions and do not use it for their own purposes. These providers assist us with hosting our platform, content delivery, database management, and analytics. They are bound by data processing agreements that ensure the protection of your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. While we do not share your personal information with these providers, technical data such as IP addresses must be processed to render our services.

  • Payment processors who help us process your subscription payments securely. These providers only receive the minimum necessary information to process your payments and do not store your full payment details on our systems.

  • Regulators/Authorities/Enforcement Agencies if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others. This includes responding to legal requests from competent authorities when required by applicable Portuguese and EU law.

  • Prospective buyers of our business under our legitimate interest to ensure our business can be continued by the buyer. In such a case, we would only transfer your data after ensuring appropriate confidentiality agreements are in place.

It's important to note that our streaming platform does not allow users to upload content or share posts, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Where do you store my data?

We store your data on secure servers which are based in the European Union. Our primary data center is located in Portugal, with backup systems in Ireland.

When working with third parties (such as our cloud providers) we may need to transfer your personal data outside of the EU. Whenever we transfer your personal information outside of the EU, we ensure it receives additional protection as required by law through appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. To keep this policy as short and easy to understand as possible, we haven't set out the specific circumstances when each of these protection measures are used. You can contact us using the details above for more information on this.

How long do you keep my data for?

We will only retain your personal information for as long as we need it unless we are required to keep it for longer to comply with our legal, accounting or regulatory requirements. Our specific retention periods are:

  • Account information: For as long as your account is active, plus 2 years after your account becomes inactive
  • Viewing history and preferences: For as long as your account is active, plus 1 year after inactivity
  • Payment information: 7 years (as required by Portuguese tax law)
  • Customer support communications: 2 years after resolution of your query
  • Marketing preferences: Until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe
  • Cookies: Most cookies expire after 24 hours, as detailed in our cookie usage section above

In some circumstances we may carefully anonymize your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you, and we may use this anonymized information indefinitely without notifying you. We use this anonymized information to improve our recommendation algorithms, analyze viewing trends, and enhance our service offerings.

What are my rights under the GDPR?

  • Access your personal data (also known as a "subject access request");
  • In most cases, correct incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you;
  • In some circumstances, ask us to erase the personal data we hold about you;
